Cicco Construction LLC is a certified stucco installer in Parex, Sto, Dryvit, and Synergy.

We complete several commercial and residential jobs where we remove the stucco, repair the framing, install the water proofing and install the new stucco system. In the past 10 years, we have put much emphasis into drainable stucco systems. Some of the different systems we install include the following:

Hard Coat System

Hard Coat System is made up of cement, lime, sand, fiberglass, and water mixed together. Hard Coat is a strong, fire-resistant cement material that resists damage from impacts.

On a hard coat system we install:

  1. Waterproofing
  2. Lath and accessories
  3. Scratch coat
  4. Brown coat
  5. Texture or finish coats

Exterior Insulated Foam System (EIFS)

A Exterior Insulated Foam System (EIFS) is a stucco system consisting of eps board (foam), base-coat, mesh, and usually an acrylic finish coat that has color and texture included in it. EIFS is a lightweight system that adds an insulation value to the structure. Typically, the trim on all stucco systems are created out of EIFS.

On a EIFS system we install:

  • Waterproofing
  • EPS board to the substrate with base-coat
  • Fiberglass reinforced mesh embedded in base-coat over the entire cement board
  • A colored and textured finish.

Cement Board System

A cement board system consists of perma-board being mechanically fastened to the framing, than coated with base-coat and finish. The cement board system offers the impact resistance of the hard-coat system and the anti-cracking benefits of the EIFS system. This is currently the most used system in the residential market and is quickly finding it’s place in the commercial market as engineers become more familiar with its advantages.

On a cement board system we install:

  1. Waterproofing
  2. Plastic lath for drainage
  3. Perma-board with exterior, ceramic coated screws
  4. 4″ mesh embedded in base-coat over the joints
  5. Fiberglass reinforced mesh embedded in base-coat over the entire cement board
  6. A colored and textured finish.

Direct Applied Stucco System

A Direct Applied Stucco System can be used over concrete or cmu block substrates. There are several options but as the name implies, the stucco is directly applied to the substrate. Typically, fiberglass mesh is embedded in base-coat and then the work area has a finish applied.

On a Direct Applied System we install:

  1. Waterproofing
  2. Fiberglass reinforced mesh embedded in base-coat over the entire substrate
  3. A colored and textured finish.
